Concept: Small-Scale Luxury Residence — Vertical Mediterranean Living
Casa Luma is conceived as a vertical sequence of spaces shaped by light, movement, and stillness. Living unfolds gradually — rising from the grounded entrance level to elevated interiors, and culminating in a rooftop retreat defined by openness, horizon, and calm.
The architecture emphasizes continuity rather than separation. Movement through the house becomes a spatial experience guided by soft transitions, framed views, and a central vertical circulation that draws daylight deep into the interior.
Materiality anchors the residence within a contemporary Mediterranean sensibility. Earth-toned plaster and natural stone provide a sense of permanence and grounding, while wood-lined curves, arches, and the sculpted domed stair soften the geometry and introduce warmth. The palette remains intentionally restrained — tactile, honest, and timeless — allowing proportion, light, and atmosphere to take precedence.
Large glazed openings dissolve the threshold between interior and landscape, inviting the surrounding environment to shape the mood of the home throughout the day. Interiors remain quiet and minimal, designed to support light, shadow, and daily ritual rather than decoration.
Above, the rooftop terrace becomes a sanctuary suspended within the landscape — a place of pause, water, vegetation, and horizon — where architecture recedes and the experience of light and openness takes over.
Casa Luma is ultimately defined by elevation, restraint, and quiet clarity: contemporary in expression, yet timeless in spirit.
